MASSIMO LUNARDON
This artistic practice is rooted in the centuries-old glassmaking traditions of Venice’s Murano island, where masterful soffiatura (glassblowing) transforms molten material into forms of luminous poetry. It collaborates closely with designers, most notably in bringing to life Antonio Aricò’s “The Blowing Man” series—a collection that narrates the very artisanal process of creation itself. The works, which range from ethereal sculptures to pieces imbued with a “mysterious dreamlike color,” are celebrated in international exhibitions and have garnered recognition at institutions like Sotheby’s London. Each unique piece stands as a testament to the dialogue between heat, breath, and time, capturing a moment of fluid beauty frozen in glass.
